Lakeland Directory is offering FREE webpages to local individuals, usergroups, charities or community ventures.

Space is only available for suitable Lake District, and Region related topics of interest. Using the request below you can provide a description of your topic of interest. Based on your description we will decide if it is an appropriate topic and contact you ASAP.

Please note that all copy for the free webspace must be provided in digital format. No design or formatting will be undertaken by Lakeland Directory. All copy is subject to our standard terms and conditions.

WHAT DO I GET?
Each community will be allowed three webpages. Charities may have up to five pages. Each page can have 300 words or six small graphics or a combination.

HOW OFTEN CAN I UPDATE MY CONTENT?
You can update on a quarterly basis for free. Anything more than this will incur a £5 charge for each occasion.

WHICH DIGITAL FORMAT DO YOU SUPPORT?
Copy is best supplied on disk or by email in Microsoft Word or Outlook format.( We do not support Mac). For graphics use gif; flash swf; and jpeg.

WILL MY PAGES HAVE TO TAKE ADVERTISING?
Each page will have the Lakeland Directory logo and a link back to the home page. You can have links and graphics to other sites which support your community. No business advertising is allowed.

CAN I USE MY FREE WEBSPACE TO MAKE MONEY?
No. Free pages are intended for information or charitable purposes. If you wish to use your site for the purpose of earning money you should apply for a mini-web from Lakeland Directory.
